Mapping Prejudice in Minneapolis

Restrictive housing covenants were made illegal by the 1968 Fair Housing Act, but their legacy continues today in Minneapolis, which has some of the largest racial disparities in the country. Join Kirsten Delegard, Director of The Mapping Prejudice Project, as she reveals how structural racism shaped our urban landscape, blocking African Americans from critical avenues for wealth accumulation.

Co-sponsored by the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute with financial support from Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
